Great fishing oppurtunities are available in coastal South Carolina and this Local Fishing Report is for the DeBordieu, SC area.

Our Bull Redfish begin to feed in our local waters starting in April and remain into well into November. We have a good population of redfish in the 20-40 lb range, true Trophy Bull Reds.

King Mackerel move inshore mid-May with the arrival of vast schools of bait fish (Menhaden) most of our Kings will be in the 20-50 lb class. These King Mackerel hit like a missle and can smoke a reel drag in a hurry.

Tarpon fishing near DeBordieu starts in mid-June through early October. These big migratory Tarpon will set up and feed along our beachs and shallow water flats. Most Tarpon will be in the 100 lb class, and some will push 150 lbs. Our Tarpon can be caught on both live bait and lures.

If your vacationing or live in the DeBordieu area or South Carolina give Capt. Steve a call (843) 446-7337 to target some Trophy Game Fish.
