Pawleys Island Fishing: Spadefish, Tarpon and Redfish

Summer is in full swing right now and the fishing in Pawleys Island and Georgetown has been outstanding. We've been running to the wrecks for Hugh spade fish, Spanish and sea trout. If you ever caught a big spadefish you know how hard they fight we like to call them South Carolina Permit.

The tarpon have begun to show in our nearshore waters earlier than usual. Should be a great year on these 80 - 150 lb silver missiles.

The redfish are feasting on the huge schools of bait fish in the bay and just off the beaches.
