Pawleys Island / Georgetown South Carolina State Record Sea Trout (weakfish) in February? Barrier Is

On a Guided trip we got on a great bite yesterday (Feb.18) catching a limit of sea trout in the 5 - 10 lb range. Most folks feel its to early to fish, but that's not the case. These big trout are hear from Fall through the winter and often stay till June before moving to Northern waters. The big weakfish of the day was just 7 oz. shy of the current state record weighting in at 10.6 lbs.
