The Mullet Run is just starting to kick off as we have noticed the smaller finger mullet beginning to move south along the beaches. Tarpon will begin to lock in and feed on this migrating and plentiful food source. The peak movement of Mullet will hit in mid September and last through mid to late October. We have recently seen an increase of tarpon moving into our area (Myrtle Beach, Surfside Beach, Litchfield Beach and Pawleys Island) as the mullet run begins.
